Solids Technology International Ltd
is a market leader in the field of environmental protection and
preservation, with a large client base spreading worldwide.
Established in 1979 in Dublin, Ireland, Solids Technology
International Ltd strives to develop new and innovative ideas
for the water and wastewater industry. Originally born from the
development of its high-performance belt filter dewatering
equipment the company has grown rapidly since then and has been
continued to expand into the global organisation it is today.
Today there are over 600 Solids
Technology belt filter systems throughout the world and we have
captured a leading position within the marketplace for clean and
odour proof, dry, automated, high-performance dewatering and
thickening systems with either belt systems or centrifuges.
Solids Technology has forged partnerships with leading
international service providers around the world and continues
to seek professional partners around the globe.
Our impressive product range
includes:
► Filter Belt Presses ► Gravity
Belt Thickeners ► Centrifuge Decanters ► Polymer Preparation
Systems ► Conveying Systems ► and Bench Press Testing
Facilities.
All our Belt Filter Systems are
manufactured from stainless steel and are fully enclosed
machines but with all mechanical and electrical components
located outside the harsh dewatering area.
Our R&D department are continuing
to develop our existing products which have all recently been
re-designed using full 3D design facilities but also to design
new products. We have this year installed our first inlet works
screening system and will be rolling these products out over the
next 12 months. In 2002, the company was acquired by Kent
Process Technologies Ltd. Based in Wexford, Ireland the company
was relocated to the Kent site. The acquisition afforded Solids
Technology all the manufacturing expertise within Kent’s 8000m2
state of the art manufacturing facility. The acquisition
has allowed Solids Technology fast-track our business by opening
us up to a new level of expertise in quality
precision-engineering, and also to the economies of scale
awarded by a large manufacturing organisation.
