We have the capability to support
clients throughout the lifecycle of their assets. These stages
being; feasibility, design, new build, installation,
inspection, testing, operation, maintenance, repair, renew
and replace.
This sector delivers £200 million of the £580 million annual
turnover of the May Gurney Group and is structured to deliver
the following services:-

Water Services:
We provide infrastructure and non-infrastructure services on
clean and waste water assets. Our particular strengths are in
mechanical and electrical, new and renew pipelines, reservoirs,
treatment works upgrades and 24 hour response maintenance works
on the sewer and water mains network.

Gas Services:
We provide 24 hour emergency gas network response, excavation,
repair, reinstatement, above ground asset replacement
programmes, new lay and replacement pipelines.

Power Services:
We repair, renew and maintain the underground electricity
network, including excavation and reinstatement. We provide 24
hour response to power supply failure incidents. We ensure
continuity of overhead supply through testing and renewal of
electricity poles.

Waterways Services:
We play an essential role in the regeneration, maintenance and
renaissance of the UK’s waterways network. We deliver heritage
maintenance services, including mechanical, civil and electrical
engineering for British Waterways across the national canal and
river network and with the Environment Agency to protect
communities from flooding.

Professional Services:
We provide feasibility, outline design and detailed design
services to support the delivery to our Water, Gas, Power and
Waterways Clients. We specialise in civil, structural,
geotechnical, mechanical and electrical engineering.

Specialist Services:
We provide a number of specialist services to support the
delivery to our clients. These services include, renewables,
smart metering, no-dig services, inspection and testing and
specialist surveys.
