Scotchkote™ Liquid Coatings for the Water Industry

From reservoir to tap, 3M™ Scotchkote™ liquid coatings provide asset owners, specifiers and contractors with a proven solution for the long-term protection of components used in the processing, storage and transmission of drinking water and the treatment and disposal of waste water.

3M is the innovation company that creates products and solutions helping customers around the work to improve their working processes and systems.

By focussing on our Water Industry Customers’ challenges and needs, 3M developed a range of products to provide cost effective solutions for the in-situ rehabilitation of existing drinking water pipes, internal lining of steel and concrete potable water storage vessels, internal lining and external coating of new pipes and corrosion protection of steelwork and ancillary equipment. Solvent free urethane and epoxy Scotchkote coatings are authorised for use under Regulation 31(4)(a) for contact with drinking water.

By partnering with our customers we continue to work together to develop solutions for the future, providing innovative products that work with their processes to help them succeed.
