Adams Hendry has extensive experience at leading and working
closely alongside multidisciplinary consultancy teams on major
water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Since 1992 we have
worked with the water industry across southern England,
promoting through the planning system on clientsʼ behalf, a
variety of capital schemes to meet the requirements of
legislation and Asset Management Programmes. In this time Adams
Hendry has secured planning consent for over 120 schemes for
water resource development, water transfer, and the treatment
and transfer of wastewater and sludge. The Company is familiar
with the regulatory processes involved and with the legislation
concerned with the water environment.
We
routinely prepare complex applications for consent, with and
without EIA, and represent clients throughout the planning
preparation, determination and implementation process by
interfacing directly with local planning authorities, decision
makers, regulatory bodies and stakeholders.
In
particular, our performance in securing consents without
recourse to Public Inquiry is exemplar of the majority of our
project management. That said, where the need for Inquiry is
unavoidable, Adams Hendry boasts an exception team of qualified
and respected expert witnesses supported by a highly skilled
team of professional planning staff.
Adams
Hendry recognises the significant technical, planning and
stakeholder engagement challenges of water and wastewater
projects and welcomes the opportunity to work with key
infrastructure providers on projects large and small.
